If you're looking to save space in your pantry by placing jars or groceries on these shelves then skip it. They have an inexplicable rise in height at the outer edge. I don't know what it is for. But what I mean is anything over 2 inches won't sit flat or straight. My glasses are leaning against the wall. I think it will work as long as I have the "edge of the wall" but on the other side I will most likely fight with items. Since the legs are sticking out, you can't go all the way to the edge either. Not a great design. I go back. The top is not very durable. Everything was just turned upside down. May work for crates but not for jars.
