You'll need your own double-sided tape

Let's start with a serious note: If you're buying these, they're either temporary while you wait for your real blinds, or because you're poor again. I'm not expecting actual blinds so this is my way of keeping my summer electricity bill down. And, you know, for what they cost (about $5 a shade), I really can't complain too much about what I got. But that doesn't mean I'll give it 5 stars. One of the biggest annoyances is having to leave them hanging on the floor behind the windowsill. If I attach the bottom piece with the plastic clips provided and leave it on the windowsill, gravity does its thing and pulls the shade further down until it shrivels up in the middle and lets in light. Again, I'm not trying to sound like I'm expecting quality blackout curtains, but this is still an inherent design flaw. I've tried attaching the tint to the will or part of the window but the clips provided are not designed for that and don't hold up very well. The absolute biggest downside to these shades is sticking. Don't get me wrong, they are fully functional. My sunglasses lasted 3-5 weeks in the hot sun before they started falling off. In fact, my apartment may be partly to blame, which was very, very badly painted before the sale and therefore doesn't have ideally flat surfaces to glue to. Where the glue didn't work it's unlikely to be heat related because it feels sticky when I hold it in my hands and it's most likely a combination of the rough surface and weight. I bought double sided tape (can't remember the brand, maybe duct tape if I had to guess but just find what you want) to hold the blinds in place and this tape hasn't failed so far. Annoyingly I tried using small sections of tape to save the roll (not cheap either) but then the screens "fall" between the pieces of tape and still let light through. I set it in my bedroom but other than that it's not too bad. Overall I'd go for 3.5 stars if I could but I ended up rounding up because they are the least functional in every way and I'm really not the type to line and show off $5- shades.
