I received this antenna after much research and consideration. I had to extend my current Wi-Fi coverage by about 400-500 feet to share with family members and it worked great. Using Youtube's simple guide to crosstalk solutions, I was able to set it up as a hotspot very easily. Just remember to set a static IP on your computer before attempting to access the antennas. It's currently mounted on a visor on my roof, pointing in the direction of the houses I wanted to signal. The spread is amazing (maybe over 180 degrees), I get 3 out of 4 splits in every spot I tested. My house is on a small hill and everyone I deliver to is at a lower elevation for reference. I chose the 2.4GHz model to get through the trees and other houses blocking my property line. I'm also surprised that at 400 feet every cellphone I've tried had no trouble broadcasting to the hotspot. I was able to download at 1MB (10Mbps connection) and stream YouTube content at 720p with no buffering.
