Revainrating 5 out of 5

Portable and powerful

TL;DR: Surprisingly good! Wireless (actually). Not crazy loud. The speed control is essentially stepless. Ideal for relieving kinks in hard-working muscles. Perfect size; more portable than larger devices (useful if you're a semi-nomadic dancer). Incredibly easy to use. Intuitive controls. Excellent battery life (actually, the standby battery life is amazing). Can't find anything to complain about, so: 10/10, Highly Recommended --- Full Review --- Introduction -- I'm a member of a small regional ballet company whose budget doesn't include a fleet of homemade pieces like massage guns, but after After trying one and owning another dancer, I realized I had to have her. However, massage guns are a little pricey, and the pandemic hasn't spared anyone their wallets. So I waited for one to come along that found the right balance of price (full disclosure: I bought this from iirc's flash deal), size, features, performance, and reviews. Just days after the box arrived, the director of The Nutcracker, where I was a guest artist, gave me a Conair massager (the more common type of back massager with a long, club-shaped handle) as a thank you. Your gift for my performance at the epicenter of a global pandemic. I debated long and hard about whether or not to keep my Annbrist massage gun and in the end I decided it had some benefits that my Conair massager didn't. => First, it is wireless. This is a really handy feature if you never know if the houses you're performing in have outlets in convenient locations (or if you just don't want to run on a cord). universally use a simple tube or post connector. Tightening your trapezius muscles after a hard trapeze workout? They probably do. My other massager is good, but it's hard to find accessories for it (well, other than the "adult" type, which I don't like - no shame if it's yours!). => Third, Conair. bit awkward. Not that it's hard to store at home or anything, but my job sometimes involves traveling and "building up the store" so to speak in AirBnB and fitting rooms where there isn't always space to stash something useful. about the size and shape of a short Stone Age club (with cord). I still wasn't sure if I made the right decision until today when I finally took my Annbrist massage gun out of the box and tried it out. . omg I try not to be like SQUEEEE 5 STARS! straight out of the box, but this little workhorse deserves it. Okay, a little background: I have a connective tissue disorder that is both beneficial and distracting from my life as a dancer. For example, I'm flexible, but my joints dislocate fairly easily, particularly my left sacroiliac joint. When this inevitably happens, the hip flexors, iliopsoas, and piriformis muscles on the same side become angry and knotted. The result is persistent, aching pain โ€” like you did that bicep curl to impress someone and then, say, keep them going for days. I won't die from it, but it's annoying. In any case. Today I finally got around to trying out my Annbrist shotgun, in no small part because it all happened. I hit that growl with a round head of foam and it was BLIS S. It also relaxed the muscles a bit, which is great (because that weird compensatory response is actually just preventing the sacroiliac joint from realigning). without much help). Once he relaxed, my sacroiliac joint locked into place without my hubs (physics) having to intervene. I also hit the quads, calves, and the soles and tops of the feet. To be honest, I was afraid that he would tickle my legs unbearably, but that didn't happen. With infinite adjustment, you can find exactly the vibrations you need for each muscle group you're working on: all you have to do is flip the switch to the on position. ," Press the dial to start the motor, then turn the dial to set the speed. A small LED display shows the speed, so if you find a setting you like, you can write them down and return to fine tune ( It also comes with a little plastic protector that I didn't remove, so don't worry if it looks a little blurry in the picture.) When you're done, press the button to turn the Stop the engine, and then set the switch to "Off". Easy! At the same time, the whole device is light enough that you don't feel like curling all the time. It works equally well with left and right hands, it's light and small enough to control with a standby battery life is fantastic - my massage gun arrived in December and I've never been able to use it until today 25th February myself, but it was still 100% charged. I don't know if the estimated 3 hour runtime is right yet, but I'll try to verify. Given that I've been running it for quite some time without any major dents in the charge, I reckon it's reliable. The portability factor is ideal. For now I'm keeping the original packaging so I can keep all the pieces together. The whole thing is small enough to fit in a carry-on with plenty of room (or in your dance bag, assuming your dance bag is either bigger than mine or not filled with warm-up boots). Either way, if you're undecided about this little massage gun, give it a try. I'm very glad I decided to keep mine.
