My new surface pen was line jerky and I decided to try this stylus. The pen feels very cheap and has poor balance. The tip is very hard and makes a loud pop (regardless of pressure) upon contact with the screen. There is virtually no friction when writing, which further degrades the overall quality of the pen. The nib is replaceable but seems to have a flaw - it rattles when I write, I've tried tightening and checking for damage but it shouldn't rattle. The final problem is that when you lift the pen off the screen after writing/drawing, the pen still registers a few millimeters above the screen; This results in the end of each letter or line having a "tail". This is the second product I have purchased from Adonit. I wasn't very impressed with the passive pen I bought but wanted to try it out with this pen designed specifically for Surface/Windows 10. Unfortunately I've come to the conclusion. that this stylus company must have something else to do. I emailed their support team with my issues but they never replied. This is a company that doesn't seem to care about their products or endorse them when they have your money. Check out Bamboo Ink if you're looking for a window ink pen.
