My electrician told me that installing in drywall can be difficult due to the narrow "bar" around the edges, which (from memory) was about 1/8 inch thick. He explained that in all likelihood *a* gap will be visible in some places between the device and the drywall, since even a professional drywall installer can have trouble cutting a hole precisely enough to place the device outside of it without any frills. Margin width is present. So something to consider. (I'm still not sure how to go about this.)
