Well I ordered two of these in chrome. We have a bidet in the main bathroom and we use washcloths to dry ourselves in case the hair dryer doesn't dry it out. Everyone. (TP is not used). I made a mistake and didn't see the measurements on the hangers. Looking at the pictures I assumed they were smaller so I ordered two of these in chrome. (I figured each shelf should have 12 washcloths stacked on top of each other.) When I went back to see if the sizes were listed, they were. The display said 13.75 inches wide, and my quick measurements with a tape measure showed 14 inches. So I would say they were correct. Anyway, when I saw that they were bigger I realized I only needed one in the toilet. I have 24 washcloths, each measuring 12" x 12". And the bottom 8 or so of them had to be folded 6.5 inches deep so they wouldn't fall through the bottom of the rack. The rest didn't matter as they were simply stacked on top of the base layer. I use folded washcloths in the sauna. Look it up on Google or YouTube. I'll see if I can use the second one elsewhere as they are pretty nice and durable. If not, I'll just send the second one back. So far, so good. Use anchors when mounting them to drywall. And use the bubble lever to make sure it's perfectly horizontal. Good buy. Highly recommended!
