Quiet and relatively fast. About 12 minutes to burn 22GB. Regular installation of recording device and software. Burning backup discs with photos and videos went smoothly. The software leaves an ugly "gadget" on the desktop that I'll probably learn to ignore in a few days. Otherwise, the software works as required to burn Blu-ray discs. My tower is a Dell XPS 8300 with covers on the front of the burners. You press a button on the side and the bowl opens the lid from the inside. The Asus BW-16D1HT fits and performs as installed from the factory. Very low CPU/memory usage. I'm still using Windows 7, so I can't say anything about compatibility with Windows 10. Update June 2016: After upgrading to Windows 10, I can report that the burner also works perfectly under Windows 10. Haven't burned the CD/ DVD drink holder yet /BR . I haven't tried M-Disk yet.
