The material is like a nice wrist sweatband - very nice. Snug. The pocket will hold a driver’s license or credit card(s), folded menu, and a key - but you may have trouble getting a bulky car key fob in (depending on the size). It’s nicer than the one I saw at Eddie Bauer. I won’t use this to hold my car keys - but maybe a house key if I don’t have pockets.
