It works exactly how I need it and looks great. I can't comment on the ease of installation, but judging by the design it was very easy to install. Drill a hole and screw it down I believe that's all you need, just make sure the base plate/support plate is strong enough to hold it in place well. It sounds like "ghost" but be safe and don't think you're good. Try it before you install it and enjoy it once inside. Amidst everything in my brand new master bathroom, the first thing my son said was "I love this doorstop, it's so cool!" And here it is.
