It has a lot of bad reviews but I actually found the roller body sugar kit to be much easier and cleaner to use than the Parissa kit to sugar with Wooden stick/jar or any other traditional waxing kit I've tried. But it had to be learned. What worked best for me was to keep the sugar very hot so it flowed easily and evenly from the roller onto my skin (be careful not to get the sugar so hot that you could burn yourself). - be sure to check this every time you reheat the glass). As long as I put a thick layer of sugar on the skin and smoothed the strips down very well, all the hairs came off easily and with little pain. I reheated the wax whenever the roller became sticky or the sugar wasn't spreading evenly. To heat the sugar I removed the roller head so the jar was open and microwaved it for a few seconds until the wax was hot, but I think this also works if you put the container in a bowl put with hot water. .I agree with other reviewers who advise having extra strips on hand. Sugar is good because it easily rinses the strips off with hot water, so I usually wash and dry the strips to have on hand for future use. I used a lot of strips while learning how to use this kit, so consider getting extra strips if you don't want to stop mid-use to wash the strips that come with the kit. I have purchased this set several times and I don't think I will ever go back to shaving or paying for leg wax at the salon. Clean up is a breeze and for that reason alone I'm a big fan of sugaring rather than waxing. Just a note: I've only used this on my legs so far - can't comment on how well it works for the bikini line/face/arms. I also have fairly coarse/dark hair and have let my hair grow between waxes - I tried this once on a short regrow and it didn't work very well. Sugar works best for my hair when it's at least 1/8 inch or 1/2 cm long.
