This Fairy Seeker is so cute! My kids love the monster trap game on the music box so I figured this would be a win for my daughter. The jar itself is quite large and light in weight, which is nice. Each time you catch a fairy you will be rewarded with rainbow lights and magical sounds. The lights change color depending on which fairy you catch. Interactive parts are enough, for example the fabulous Tomagachi. I'm torn about the app. First of all, I'm not a big fan of children's toys with applications, so I didn't even dare to download them. But the app shows your collection of fairies and tells you something about each one, like a little fairy trading card. Time will tell how interesting it will be. For now, this is a fun addition. Oh, there's still the option to trade fairies. We only have one jar but I suppose it would be fun with families having more than one or if friends also have a magic jar.
