Overall I am satisfied with this product. I can't give it 5 stars yet as I've only used it 2 times on low settings, so I can't give an accurate assessment of battery life. I bought it to keep me cooler when gardening in the summer heat. I love that this fan has vents all around the fan; Other models I looked at don't have vents in the neck. The fan sits comfortably on the neck (not too heavy). The fan is fairly quiet on low settings, but louder on high settings (the sound of the wind blowing past your ears). For some reason, the right side has more airflow than the left, and the back of the head has the least airflow. I used it on a hot and muggy day gardening and it kept my head area comfortable even though other parts of my body were sweaty. I also used it in the "buggy" area. This got bugs flying out of my face, but I had to use high settings and wear them like I'd wear in-ear headphones to get the vents to blow away from my face (rather than up).
