I was skeptical after reading mixed reviews but decided to give it a try. Sound quality is important to me, but comfort and convenience are just as important. I used to return headphones from another big company because they were uncomfortable right out of the box. I didn't even turn them on. These Anker in-ear headphones fit and stay in my ears well and stay in place when I'm running. I thought the sound quality for music could be a bit better with a tighter bass, but overall the sound is still great and the voice quality is very good. I went with the updated version to save a few bucks. Everything was intact except for the unsealed box. I would say updated or new they are worth the money. I haven't had a chance to extend the battery life yet, but there's no reason to think they're going to run out of battery.
