These are good filters for the price. I haven't had them long enough to know how durable they will be over the long term, but they seem sturdy and I haven't had any rusting issues. The only downside - and I think that's the downside of ANY colander, so I don't blame it - is that tiny particles can build up on the ring, making it difficult to clean at times. I would love to find a filter that doesn't, but after reading filter reviews from cheapest to most expensive, it seems like there isn't a filter that doesn't pick up fine particles on the ring. . So I decided on this inexpensive set based on the reviews of various filters. So far I'm happy with them.
