that I would give more than 5 stars but they are a bit small: my daughter just turned 4 years old, size 4, about 42 inches tall, weight 40 pounds . We are size 3-5 and they just fit. They're as thick and warm as sweatpants but in leggings. The legs are a bit odd, but luckily that doesn't bother her. She loves her "heavy" tights and they have a bit of shimmer (probably because of the spandex), but it's a great (and durable!) option for girls who just want to wear dresses but are rough and awkward and still want to get outside . . . . Washed once and seems to be holding up well. Definitely recommend!
