I have just received two of these devices and am testing one of them. It seems to work. The automatic channel search is fast. You can also scan individual channels manually. It has a signal meter that is useful for aligning the antenna. And you can choose how widescreen pictures are displayed (compressed to 4:3, letterboxed or enlarged). The device has a plastic case with very small cooling holes on the top. I would be concerned about how long it will last, perhaps with insufficient cooling. Also, the remote control has a very weak battery cover. It started cracking after opening it twice.
