This flavor injector worked great on Thanksgiving turkey. With so many different needles, pouring tons of juice into the bird was easy. Unfortunately I used a liquid that was quite warm/hot after boiling and the injector got very hot. There was one spot on the item that didn't get hot and I was able to hold it so I could still use it, but that was the difference between this and the plastic I've had for years. The plastic I used previously had no problem with hot liquid. Even with lube in the device, it was a bit more difficult for me to pull the syringe out and fill it with liquid. Overall this is a good item and I will definitely use it again.
