Different fan models require different switches.

I replaced the Hunter ceiling fan switch with a Menards model and activated only high and low speeds. This one, Zing Ear, replaced the Menards and now I have all 3 speeds again, which is important as the medium speed was the most used. Do your research when replacing fan parts to save time and money. Be aware of which wires go where and maybe watch a YouTube video for help. Much luck.
