Review on GIGABYTE AERO 17 HDR YD 93US548SP by Rodney Gonzalez

Extremely unimpressed for a $4000 computer. Gigabyte should be ashamed of this garbage machine. I was sold what was advertised as a 16GB RTX 3080 laptop. Only to find out they sent the 8GB version. Called Gigabyte support to verify and indeed 16GB versions of these GPUs are not available. Several websites still claim the 16GB version, when in fact it is an incorrectly advertised 8GB GPU. The device keeps freezing even if you just watch Netflix. I tried playing Forza Horizon 4 and encountered many crashes. The laptop refuses to remember the settings, even if you just close and open the lid, you have to reset the settings in the control center. BUYER BEWARE, THIS LAPTOP DOES NOT COST 4K, LOOK ELSEWHERE AND AVOID EVERY COST! I DO NOT RECOMMEND. I'M BACK LOOKING FOR BETTER OPTIONS.
