Helps prevent backflow from my tank to the automatic.

Prevents backflow from my aquarium into the automatic dispenser I use to drip calcium and alkali into the aquarium. They are inexpensive and give me peace of mind that contamination of the dispenser fluids is not a problem as there is no way the water can be pumped back out of the tank.
