Review on 🧣 Ultimate Thermal Retention: Windproof Balaclava Fleece Hood for Skiing, Moisture Wicking & Performance Design - Black, One Size by Scott Gendron

It's better to ask your 9-year-old niece to make it from the leftovers of a rug.

I don't understand all the good reviews. Maybe this article was better before? The one I have is pretty much useless. This is a fairly thin fleece, not thick enough to protect against strong winds or cold. The stitching isn't very good either. Looks like something the kids club made from the leftovers of that crappy rug everyone's been obsessed with for a while. But what I don't like is the fit. It's very embarrassing. The inner part that is supposed to cover the mouth is not deep enough. but worse, IT'S JUST A PIECE OF ROLLED FLEECE, VERY LOOSE around the neck and chin - and don't think for a minute it's going to stay on your nose if you hope it will. It wouldn't stay over my mouth if I didn't tie part of the hood very tight, the problem is the TIE is cut RIGHT ACROSS MY MOUTH and not under my chin and I have a small head! (There's a reason there aren't any pictures of this tied item.) To tie the hood tight enough to keep it up and closed, and to keep the wind from whipping around your ears, you need the hole just make a small hole. I could barely see, And it wasn't very warm yet. It also causes the insides to bunch up and rub against my mouth and chin. I've been playing around with this thing for an hour and I don't see the point. It would be easier and warmer with a plain old hat and scarf. I wasn't expecting high quality for the price, but this is a complete waste of money. Maybe if you have a huge head and just want something for your neck and head on a slightly cold day - maybe this will work for you. And that's just a sidebar, but maybe the seller will see: the package comes with a postcard drawn by the company owner's 3-year-old child - cute - with the thank you note and a note that this is a family business - just him and his 3 year old whose photos really touch your heart - and they ask for a good rating to help them succeed. I would be very happy about a good rating. I'm talking about American family businesses, but that's just another made in China crap sold by a middleman. If he wants to have a successful business, he needs to ask for HONEST feedback and improve his offering.
