Review on ๐ŸŽฎ Cobalt/Black Nintendo DS Lite: Experience Gaming Excellence by Ken Hamdan

Do the normal, not the easy.

I was going to use this product on some of my old GBA games, but when it arrived it came to me with that curse that all Nintendo DS owners fear: the latch was broken. I'm referring to the latch that connects the bottom display with buttons to the top display with speakers. Because of this, the display has been flipped and painted orange around the edges. As for the buttons, they're not the most responsive of those I've seen on the DS, to say the least. Needless to say, I was disappointed that it arrived in a state where I can't play unless I'm doing something like Sudoku for the DS, assuming the touchscreen would be more responsive. Anyway, I hate being one of those reviewers but I was excited to get the DS back and it was an inconvenience at best. I would prefer a regular DS over a Lite; I got one for $40 while when I got this one it was around $35. $5 is worth it.

Pros
  • Up to 19 hours of continuous gaming without charging
Cons
  • There are other interesting options.
