When I was a girl, my grandmother used to peel grapefruits and would take the time to peel each grapefruit. I hate that! She said that one day I would do this for my children. Well, I'm not a grandmother, sorry! But my kids still love grapefruit. I just cut them in half and scooped them out with a spoon. Then take the knife into segments for easier extraction. But now I've found this set and it makes it even easier. Now I can scoop them out more easily and no longer have to lose juice. I still squeeze out the leftovers that the spoon might miss for drinking, but it's better not to lose a lot of flesh when scooping out as it has jagged edges. Definitely better for me
