Please read this review completely before jumping to conclusions. This product didn't work for me. That's why I give it a low rating. That doesn't mean it doesn't work at all, it might work for other people but not for me. I ended up buying a new monitor with integrated DisplayPort and when I connected my laptop directly with a DisplayPort cable everything was fine but my old DVI monitor didn't work through this adapter. I checked and both monitors work fine with all connections, but this adapter didn't work when I switched from the laptop to the old monitor. It could be a laptop. In any case, be careful when going from a DisplayPort laptop to a DVI-only monitor, think twice before buying this adapter.
