My problem was that I just bought a Samsung Galaxy S20 FE which doesn't have many case options on the market yet. The best case I went for is great, but the only thing missing was a protective cover for the USB-C charging port, which I very, very rarely use as I mostly rely on wireless charging. So not only did I want something I could use to protect the port, but 1 would fit next to the case and even preferably be flush or recessed into the case itself and 2 would be easily detachable if you need to use the charging port, ie - if You use the phone to navigate the car and need to connect it. These connectors fit both. It fits perfectly into the case cutout for the port and doesn't protrude - thumbs up. And it's flexible/easy enough to slip my finger in to pull it out when I want to use the charging port. The problem is solved. Notes: - The connector seems to hold up well enough in the connector that I'm not worried about it falling out. Aside from the occasional splash, I wouldn't rely on this plug to keep water out of the port. I'm only mentioning it because it's listed in the reviews in the feature rankings, I didn't even consider it. So where I think it offers some water resistance as it seals the port - I wouldn't rely on it if it was submerged in water or anything. So I'm giving 3 stars out of 5 for water resistance as it's better than nothing but definitely not an IP6 rating or anything like that.
