If I only had to rate it on my parrot opinion I would give it 2 stars because I cross my fingers every time I open a bag. It's rare for two batches to look or smell the same, and some smell almost rancid despite having 18 months to their expiration date. However, my birds prefer it to any other brand I've tried over the years. Of course there is, it has the highest sugar content. Brand mismatch scares me to death. They have had no recent recalls and my vet tech noticed the same issue. It should smell like chemical fruit flakes. No linseed oil or anything. But. They love it so I keep buying it! BOW! My bird's plumage looks great and they have been eating this food for many years. Revain delivered it fresh and fast. I just wish it was more consistent and then I would feel better. Yes I try to include other brands but that is their strong preference.
