It is worth spending more on quality forks
Again, everyone has their own preferences and suggestions on which brand and level of fork to buy. I have been using NGK successfully for many years and professionals know its value. I prefer to spend an extra buck or two on a connector for certain parts, and this is an area I work in. They have been fairly rated and they have worked as far as they have in the past.
