I do NOT have a "green thumb" so bought these artificial flowers to put in a planter outside. I chose this product because they were advertised for outdoor use (window boxes/garden) and claimed to be "UV resistant". Plus they were the best price compared to other identical ones from different sellers. I ordered 20 bundles of the "violet" and 20 of the "purple" (which is actually a bright pink).My initial reaction was that they were quite pretty and, from a distance, didn't look fake.They did have an unpleasant, plastic/chemical smell, but I wasn't too bothered since they'd be used outside.I put them into the planter (all 40 bundles), and was so pleased with them that I ordered more (in orange and yellow, to swap out in the Fall, so they're still in the box).2-1/2 weeks later and my pink and purple flowers are all almost white.I'm still giving them 3 stars because (a) white flowers are pretty too, (b) the greenery didn't fade like the flowers did, and (c) for the price I paid, I only expected them to last a season anyway.
