We bought these bags because the manufacturer's bags are very expensive and are getting more and more expensive. I've had my pearl for a very long time and treat it like a shop vacuum except when it comes to water (of course!) and I vacuum everywhere. Laundry room, lounge which is in the basement, kitchen and all floors in the house. I've used it to lift literally anything, including footprints in the sand and clods of earth. There is only one big difference between these bags and the manufacturer's bags; The manufacturer's bag has a locking door on the hole so dust and allergens stay in the bag, but this doesn't. Otherwise they fit perfectly in the canister. It's quite difficult to protect yourself from every single allergen, at this point you can live in a bubble. I vacuum every day, sometimes twice a day when there is a lot of pollen. Honestly, when I'm vacuuming that much, I'd rather use more bags. They are far from cheap and I love Filtrete products because they work the way they are supposed to. he got really fed up). You stay on my shopping list. So I felt it necessary to update this review. I still have the pearl as she refuses to die but she is in the nursing home now. I also have a beautiful C3 Calima. like now the main vacuum, since it's lighter and smaller than the vacuum (thankfully). Both use GN bags and I still use Filtrete as my preferred choice. So yes, I got a box of Miele bags for a new vacuum cleaner. I really LOVE these bags, so I sometimes treat myself when they're on sale :-), but for the everyday workhorse, Filtrete bags are the best.
