I don't normally write reviews but I've found that there is some confusion as to whether or not the mic works with Xbox One: IT WORKS! I had to turn my Xbox One off completely and turn it back on with the mic plugged into the back. It didn't work when I plugged in the mic while the console was on. So if you're having trouble, try here. Hope this helps EDIT: After a few weeks of use I found the mic prone to bouts of static electricity. I'm not sure if this is due to a cable or microphone issue as there is no single solution to this problem. Usually, in the worst case scenario, I have to unplug and plug the mic back in during the song. It's not great, but it's still a lot better than trying to get by with a headset mic. This happens often enough to give this review 3 stars.
