I use this sediment filter in combination with an activated carbon filter in my RV's two-stage water filtration system and change it every two months, mainly depending on usage and the water quality at that site. When I move to a new place I test the water without a filter and then with it and what is the difference. Gives rest. Definitely saves me from buying bottled water - at least in most areas of the US. Obviously YMMV in terms of how often you need to install a new filter, type and size of your system etc. Good price and will buy again next year.
