Heavy lock but reasonable for its security. The size seems to allow more flexibility in lock placement than a U-lock. I was able to attach the case to the bike frame with screws, but I was only able to use one of the two velcro straps that came with the case. Either way, it holds up well enough on the bike when traveling. Highly recommended. Edit: This was my original review. After a month of using the lock, the folding lock doesn't seem to close as easily as the U-lock. Yes, the lock surrounds a large area, but trying to flip the lock to lock both the frame and one of the tires is a pain. This is because the lock head can only be bent in one direction. Changed from 5 to 4 stars. The lock is still of high quality but will need to be replaced for future models.
