Review on LEDGLE Aquarium Submersible Brightness Adjustable by Gary Davis

Nice little light! in aquarium lighting

I bought this LED light for my daughter's 100 gallon goldfish pond. While the suction cups proved to be excellent quality, we couldn't get them to stay in place. The light continued to appear on the side of the tank. I'm not sure if the problem is with the material of the tank (it's not 100% smooth) or with the suction cups themselves. Sometimes the suction cups are so flat that they can't generate enough suction to stay in place . The suction cups that come with this light have a very good depth! I believe these suction cups work great on glass or acrylic. The light has an impressive color palette! You can either leave the light on all the time or turn on the flash or fade (we'll just leave it on all the time and don't bother with the flashing light functions). You can also dim the light as you like. The remote control works as expected, but its range is very limited. We've found that you need to be within 16 inches of the connector and you need to point it directly at the connector for it to work (there's some sort of antenna attached to the connector). In any case, we rarely use the remote control, so this is not a big problem for us. All in all, not a bad light, especially for the price. Aside from the issues mentioned above, it has worked well and we are happy with it.

Pros
  • Easy to install - with strong suction cups and requires no complex assembly. Body safe, odorless and extremely durable in use. The light bar can be easily installed on the bottom of the fish tank, on the top of the fish tank, or anywhere in the fish tank to decorate your fish tank.
Cons
  • So far so good
