I've wanted to try ribbon embroidery for a long time and this kit drew me in with all the beautiful details and the fact that there was a video that covered the whole project in enough depth. Now that it's finished, I'm happy with how it turned out; However, I can't say I enjoyed it very much. Nothing prepared me for the force it would take to pull the needles and ribbon through the canvas. When I got to the largest volume, I had resorted to jewelry pliers. Even the video shows the manufacturer struggling to get through some of those bands. How is it supposed to work? Or is it the materials? It wasn't exactly "relaxing" anyway. Again the result is very pleasing and the video was helpful although it took me over an hour to complete (though less time than some traditional embroidery projects). everything you need and I haven't run out of materials. If you enjoy doing that, I think it's one of the nicest projects out there, but it has its own problems.
