I am very impressed and frankly amazed at the thoughtful design and execution of this system. We've burned routers in the past and I've tried pretty much every brand. Not only does this item feature mesh technology, it's also the first to have no boxes scattered everywhere. Instead, it uses these grid dots that you just stick into the wall, so you don't have to wall mount them or put them on a shelf. We all have electrical outlets in our homes or offices. For this reason, setting the vertices does not require any additional work. The base block is just beautiful along with the grid dots. The exterior is clean and fits well on a bookshelf in a prominent position. This differs from ugly routers that look like insects. The Ones You Hide The Amplifi HD system is a neat looking unit that's convenient to place outdoors like a stylish stereo or a NEST thermostat. Setup is effortless and the iPhone app is just what you need. Just a few clicks and you're done. Additionally, the system comes with an in-box quick start guide that is clearly written and visually guides you through the setup process. Once the base station is set up, simply connect the grid points and in a few seconds they will find the base station and your network is up and running. You can access the user guide on their website if you want to see what it's all about. The base station has a clear and well-designed touchscreen. It's nice to see blue and light blue indicators when the network is in use and content is loading in real time. There are other views on the touchscreen that show data usage, address information, etc. The app is really cool. Everything can be viewed and configured there. You can check and even test the status of the network. You can set up multiple faucets and things that need static addresses. The system even suggests addresses it knows are open, so you don't have to think about it. Internet can be paused for all or specific devices. There's even a nice list of all active devices if they're on 5G or 2.4G, along with the device name/type. Great information and features at your fingertips. I'm silent about the most important things, but he can do more. The performance is truly breathtaking. No lags, hiccups, buffers,. any shape. I have a solid internet connection and it was all on my old router. Worse, you had to drop to 2.4G depending on where you were within the wireless bubble. Now I can connect to 5G anywhere, quickly and easily. I use some kind of technology all day long. I'm used to it and it's been a long time since anything really innovative came out. This is the first tech thing I've gotten in a while that's very interesting and does exactly what they say it does. No nonsense, no nonsense, just the right and thoughtful design with the right execution. The price is in line with similar systems attempting to provide a mesh network. I found this to be the best value for money and was cheaper than other systems which I didn't think were better in any way. It also uses the 802.11ac standard and is upgradeable so I know this purchase will serve me and my users for years to come. You use wireless technology at home or in a small office; It is simply the best wireless system/solution I have ever seen. It's beautiful, fast, easy to manage/configure, powerful and future-proof. If you are skeptical, visit their website and read the CEO's blogs. The company has very impressive roots. They can rethink connected devices the way Tesla rethought the car.
