Review on Logitech G G603 Lightspeed Wireless Gaming Mouse, Black by Mateusz Grabowski ᠌

Revainrating 5 out of 5

I am amazed at how well made the product is, just magical!

After the incident with the replacement of the mouse at Logitech, my respect and trust in this company has increased many times over. Yes, the first mouse was defective, but they took a loss, sent a new one that works great. In general, I really liked such a fair step in my direction. I think that because of this, my next mouse and keyboard models will be selected from the Logitech brand. I praise them absolutely sincerely, and deservedly so. Let the company live longer! Okay, now about the mouse itself. Once upon a time, I already thought about making the mouse + keyboard wireless so that you could sit with them on the sofa in front of the TV. But I was severely disappointed - there were significant brakes, the response from the mouse was unacceptable for a comfortable game. And for office work, this is not particularly noticeable, there were no complaints. In general, the dream was pushed to hell and used only wired mice and keyboards. And then I found out that Logitech made a set of gaming devices with a wireless interface, this is the G603 mouse and the G612 keyboard. I immediately bought them, there were no reviews then (or there were few). And my hopes were fully justified: these are real gaming devices, very fast, without noticeable delays. And now the dream has come true! It should also be noted a very long battery life. Almost a year of work without changing batteries. For this I had to pay with the lack of backlighting, for a mouse this is not important, but the keyboard without backlighting is no longer so comfortable at night. In general, this kit (G603 and G612) deserves my highest rating!

Pros
  • Great mouse, very comfortable in the hand. The weight is suitable, the buttons are reliable, all pressing is clear. The main advantage is that it is wireless and does not slow down. Wireless expands the range of applications, and the fact that the mouse does not slow down does not narrow this spectrum, i. E. she can play.
Cons
  • Early models, all as one, sinned with childhood illness - the scroll was buggy. This manifested itself in the fact that by turning the scroll wheel, the reaction of scrolling the page, for example, was unpredictable, it was thrown randomly. In later versions of the mouse, this problem was eliminated. I had an early mouse, with a flaw. I put up with him for more than six months because of her merits (see "merits"). But then I wrote to Logitech and they sent me a new mouse.
