I already have a Blueair Pro XL which I've been using downstairs for over 6 months which saves me dusting every week. I could see the dust in the air walking down the stairs in the morning but it's gone now. So I needed more at the top so I bought 2 more large ones for the top floor, one at each end because I live in a very dusty area. then in autumn the winds begin to blow. The problem with the Blueair Pro L is that it doesn't have the 'automatic air reconnaissance' feature that I found out about after receiving the unit. This extra component means the blocks themselves switch into different modes, which I liked about the XL underneath. The price for the "Air Reconnaissance Module” to install the Blueair Pro L in the air is approximately $90 with delivery. This means this device costs over $1,000, but you can't rate its health. Hopefully it will last a good 10 years. Keep in mind that you have to buy filters and they are around $60 each and the Pro L needs 2 filters every 6 months. In general, this is not a cheap device, but I'm tired of housekeepers coming every 2 weeks to dust and break things. I'm happier with Blueair.
