Review on Supercharged 16GB Transformer USB Flash Memory Drive: Compact and Reliable Storage Solution by Ardy Espinoza

PROS This item looks really cool and since my daughter's high school team is Panther she thought it was a suitable USB stick (USB Do you need floppy drives for high school these days? Dude, I feel old!). It looks and transforms as shown in the description and picture. CONS After a double "rebuild” of the device, within an hour of opening the package, the metal pin holding the tail in place fell off. We tried to insert it several times but it kept falling out. The needle is so small it has practically disappeared into our carpet, but it has yet to be found. Legs folded into a rectangular USB stick configuration feel flexible and exposed. The USB interface is inserted into the device with a slider. The slider is very rigid and difficult to deploy/retract. CONCLUSION If you intend to use this unit as a novelty, perhaps on a display shelf, this could be a worthwhile purchase. If you really intend to use it or carry it around regularly, don't worry - chances are it'll fall apart soon.
