Review on Undersummers Classic Shortlette: Plus Size Anti Thigh Chafing Slip Shorts For Under Dresses by Jim Raju

Pretty Good: my feedback

So far, these are OK. The good: they are thin enough to fit under skirts without adding bulk. They do indeed prevent chafing. They aren't too long (they it about mid-thigh on me). The not-so-good: the stitching is fairly terrible. It looks like something I did. Very long tails were left at the end of messy backstitching. Not something I'd expect for the price. Also, they're kinda hot. I live in South Texas and it didn't even get up to 80 degrees yesterday, but they were uncomfortably warm. I can't think they'll work for me during the summer. The fabric doesn't breathe at all. Also, the ends of the legs do indeed ruck up a little. Not enough to eliminate the chafe protection, or to chafe themselves, but enough for it to be annoying. I'll probably look into the more expensive, lace-trimmed version and see whether that helps the issue any. It would be nice if even the basic version worked as indicated, but it's not so bad I won't give the company more of my money!

Pros
  • Great for wearing during exercise or other physical activities
Cons
  • Difficult to put on and take off
