The shorts themselves seem comfortable. The flat seam pictured in the description isn't what it looks like, but still not bad. The reason for the bad rating and return the day after receiving the shorts were the leg cuffs. They looked good, but when they were put on they were loose, like they had been stretched. I even stretched them a foot and they still felt loose and very thin. You would flap in the wind on a bicycle. Very cheap. You've got decent shorts, just get rid of that useless grip. make it better
