Want protection? This is the way. I'm pretty sure this phone will survive any fall. I'm a trucker and dropped it off with no problem. However, there are two problems: installing the charger is a hassle, and I kept fiddling with it to insert the cable. I have to hold down the charging port cover before plugging in the cable. It's a bit annoying and I'm sure I'll get used to it. Another issue is that the case is so thick that people can't hear me very well when I hold the phone to my face during a call. It's fine if I speak directly into the mic while holding the phone to my face, or if I remove the case, which I usually have to do when not using Bluetooth, but this case is terrible for calls. Tl; dr great protection but can't make a phone call properly because the case interferes with the mic
