I really like this carrier. I bought it so my cats can be together when we go somewhere as it usually makes them calmer. I keep the center baffle folded up and both cats have enough space to travel comfortably together. There is a shoulder strap as well as two straps that can be linked together if you prefer to carry the bag in your hand. Unlike the hard dual holders, this one isn't bulky and I find it much more secure. I've put two 12 pound cats in a carrier with no problem. It would also be great for a single cat of one of the larger breeds. All openings have double zips and an extra zip for you to keep the zips together to prevent escape. The clasps look a little cheap, but they serve their purpose. The net is strong enough that the cat has to strain to get out of the carrier. There is also an opaque fabric that can be either zipped or tied at the back. I always keep all opaque fabrics tied together and don't recommend closing them completely when the animal is in the carrier, but keeping it closed would be just as easy as keeping it open.
