This ergonomic chair changes your posture. I immediately noticed that I was sitting with a straight back and not leaning over the table, keeping my shoulders and neck in an optimal position. I was able to work at the computer for much longer and no longer had the aches and pains caused by stiff neck and shoulder muscles. I had some lower back pressure the first few times from sitting in an unfamiliar position for a long time, but it didn't last. I started using this chair/stool alternately with the standard chair for a few days and now that I've got used to it I haven't had any back, neck, shoulder or arm discomfort like I usually do when I work at my desk. .This chair is solidly made with high quality materials. The knee and seat pads are well padded and the height adjustment offers more space for long legs. If you are uncomfortable sitting in an office chair for hours, you can try this chair/stool.
