Review on Braided Nylon Seine Twine Construction Exterior Accessories via Towing Products & Winches by Carlos Nolan

I think the repeated complaints are justified

Yes the color is definitely bluish, spruce blue at best. The label says there is 1lb of thread per spool, which is also incorrect as the spool with core and wrapping weighs less than 1lb. For yard goods, the actual length must be on the roll and on the label. When selling by weight, the actual weight must be stated on the roll and label. It is best to commit entirely to weight or length only, not sell by length or label by weight, and the label need not match actual weight. At the same time I bought a 1/4 pound spool of Catahoula tarred/braided line and the Catahoula weighs over 1/4 pound with the core and wrapper so I'm pretty sure I'm getting what I paid for have. Twine might be what I was hoping for. I've used lighter types of paracord like 275# or 325# for things that don't require core construction or such an expensive heavy cord. The line is fairly smooth but not smooth, a bit soft, not stiff or slack. I will update after some use. If I really like it, I deserve a 4th star.

Pros
  • This is amazing
Cons
  • Some bugs
