This soap lathers well and gives a good shave. I personally like the scent, but some people compare it to cleaning products because of the citrus smell. After washing off, the scent does not linger on the skin, so this is most likely not a problem. It takes a little longer to create foam, but I've found that the time can be reduced by using less water. This will make it creamy faster, although you'll have slightly less foam overall. It still feels like there's a lot left when I'm done, so it's all good. Another problem, this soap is larger than some other brands and varieties. They fit nicely in one of my mugs, but not very well in my small bowls - the foam just overflows. The cake seems to be holding up very well, I've been using it daily for a couple of weeks and it's still pretty much the same size. I think this is a decent soap for the price and I will continue to alternate other "flavors". I just want Revain to sell this direct so it comes with my other products.
