I took an Apple iPad 2 as a replacement. In general, I am satisfied with the device, although it was not without a fly in the ointment. Here would be a normal stereo sound and remove the frames - it would be an ideal tablet. If the old design can still be forgiven, then the sound of the speakers after the iPhone Xr causes dissonance. Even in iPad 2 it was better. After walking around with Mini for a week, I took the old iPad 2 in my hands and just went nuts with how bulky and heavy it is! The tablet is very comfortable and mobile. Very smart - it works better than iPhone Xr (despite the same amount of RAM), at the level of Xs. There is definitely a supply of hardware for the next couple of years - the main thing is to stop ating the software in time, otherwise I ended up turning my old iPad into a vegetable, ating it from iOS 6 to iOS 9 at the time . The oleophobic coating was not pleasantly surprised - prints removed with difficulty. I haven't seen this on Apple devices yet. I don't know if they saved on it or what. The battery was not noted in the pros and cons - because there is not much to say about it. I didn’t have to load it with heavy games, but subjectively, with a heavy load, it will last for 6-8 hours. Normally 8-10 hours. I cannot but rejoice at the presence of the good old 3.5 mm, I use the tablet as a large iPod for listening to music. Apple's gut (adapter to 3.5) - the sound spoils. I do not consider the lack of keyboard cover support a drawback. This is not why they take the Mini. With regards to screen sizes and their comparison with phablets (shovel-backgrounds) - comparing them based on the number of inches is not correct. The secret is in the proportions and "right" corners of the iPad screen. I explain, the iPad screen is “wide”, the iPhone screen is elongated. Accordingly, the location of information on the iPad is not comparable when watching a video or text. Yes, and the rounded corners of the iPhone screen absorb some of the inches. The lack of a universal charger is a stone in Apple's garden. With a wide range of company devices, it is “recommended” for everyone to carry a separate charger. So it turns out that if you have a tablet, phone, smart watch, you have to carry a whole bag of chargers with you.
