My wife's camera broke on vacation and she had to tell me what replacement camera she needed. But after more than six months of inactivity I decided to buy this camera as an intermediate so that it can take pictures. This camera is so small that you can easily put it in your purse. We don't use cellphone to take photos so this is a great alternative. And who knows, maybe I won't have to buy her a more expensive camera. I also took a memory card from her old broken camera and put it in this one. All her old photos appeared in Canon PowerShot without any special measures. Their memory chip was 128MB, so it's good that it worked in the new camera without any issues. Also, my wife loves red and the red PowerShot was $5 cheaper than the silver one. Good value for money and I saved money.
