Review on 🚰 High-Quality Replacement Valve Cartridge for American Standard 994053-0070A Bath & Kitchen Faucets by Angelo Forrest

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Fits my Williamsburg Kitchen Faucet and Williamsburg Bathroom Faucet

When a rapid drip started from the hot water side, I knew the cartridge needed replacing. Took out the cartridge and saw on the internet that we have a fancy Williamsburg kitchen faucet that we bought 10 years ago, matching the pictures on the internet at American Standard. There was a sort of white washer ring at the bottom of the cartridge that had been eaten away and some were missing. I tried checking Home Depot where we bought the faucet and it listed a discontinued part. I took the part number and matched it exactly to the Revain part, although the stem looked shorter in the photo (HD specs matched the length of the stem in my hand). I bought it online and now it's less than a minute. change the time, my hot water works fine. Replacing a lightbulb is harder than this. The tricky part is finding the right wrench to loosen and take out the old part. Now I'm washing the dishes in the dishwasher for the first time in 2 days. Revain is back on top! Fuui to the big hardware stores and especially to the hardware store! worth the 11 bucks to do the dishes again! Update: About a week ago my gold Williamsburg bathroom faucet started leaking on the hot water side. I ordered another one and installed it in less time than changing a lightbulb. I was a little worried the new one wouldn't fit as the old one was covered in some kind of black material around the shaft. Ha! It worked great. Now no more wasting hot water or dripping in the middle of the night to keep me up! On the AS website they sell these puppies for $21! The same, but they don't say if it fits the Williamsburg models.
