FOR ALL MY POINT & SHOOT PPL I AM HERE FOR YOU. Rzhunimagu! I now have an LED light for my Canon PowerShot SX530 HS with 3M's "Ultra Durable Mounts". Of course, without self-made light, we P&S owners can't record videos with light at night. PowerShot cameras do not have cold shoe slots. This light from Neewer gives you what you pay for. Honestly more in my opinion. I was able to attach the heavy duty, improved 3M Velcro straps I mentioned to the flashlight and my P&S without closing any of the ports or affecting any of the elements involved. I can still shoot and light on a tripod with ease as it shares the same threaded hole as most cameras. Not sure about battery life yet as I just put in 2 AAs but I don't expect ANYTHING that requires Type A batteries to last too long. On shooting days, I just take an extra backpack with me. Might not work as well over long distances, but perfect for people in the same room or outside. It's dazzling to be honest lol. Works very well!
